Artist: Prana + Amanite FX
Title: Black Rain
Label: P.O.F.

A great record by Tsuyoshi Suzuki together with Amanite FX from France.
I guess I can say everything I've so far heard that Tsuyoshi has had anything
to do with has been excellant and this one is no exception.
Very tasty spacey breaks and yet again the masterful use of gated analogue
sounds to create a quality psychadelic trance release.
There is also a Remix by 'Blue Planet Corporation' which is a definate
'grower' and has some very effective cyber-psychadelic breaks and a very
effective deep uplifting section ... it keeps getting better...

Artist: Spicelab
Title: Spice Like Us
Label: Spy Vs Spice

Oliver Lieb is back with another execllant release.
If you liked the earlier Spicelab stuff you won't be dissappointed in this one.
There are Three Tracks. "Spice Like Us" is another great hardtrance/acid
track that keeps evolving as you listen. Great Warehouse track!
"Spice Peak" - Great psychadelic analogue sounds bubbling through
with spacey background sounds coming in and the great production we've come
to expect from Oliver Lieb... hard to desribe...this track is increadible!
"Spy vs Spice" - trippy chilled spacey electro - also extremely good.
get it if you can....

Artist: Transparent Sound
Title: Atmosphere
Label: Transparent Sound

Starts off with a wonderful electro (as in the best elements of
'80s electro) sound which gradually evolves into a psychadelic trance/doof/goa
thing... and back again... very effective. More please!
... On the b-side there are two more tracks, one a quite nice mellow
electro-ish thing and the other track is another excellant cross between
electro and acid/trance... more.?... please tell me where.....

Artist: Everthing But The Girl
Title: Walking Wounded (double 12")
Label: Virgin

Nice mellow cross of jungle, trance and indie-pop.
Great production, good use of drum samples with
dreamy background synth soundscapes.
4 Mixes... all quite nice, a "Main Vocal Mix", the very nice "Hard Vocal Mix",
the "Spring Heel Jack Dub Mix", and the "Omni Trio Mix".

Artist: Front 242
Title: Happiness (Underworld Remix)
Label: RRE

After a nice melodic start it becomes a powerful moving track with
great production and powerful bass sounds incorporating some great elements
of Front 242's and Underworld's style. Very DJ and dance floor friendly as well.
The B-side has some older tracks: The excellant Prodigy "Trance You Down" mix
of "Religion" and the classic Orb "Victor The Cleaner Mix" of "Rhythm Of Time"
which are also well worth getting if you didn't get them back then.

Artist: Consequenz
Title: Silver Surfer
Label: Friends

On the A-side is "Silver Surfer" a deep and uplifting constantly evolving
trance track... nice.
On the B-Side is "Fly So High" - a dancfloor stormer that gives you that
wonderful 'flying' feeling...:-)... and "Big Yo Ho"... not bad either.
